Two new players and four good goals

Today’s performance was the perfect response from a team who have underperformed in vital games this season. Even with our front two a bit off their game the team produced a good hardworking performance and got their reward with the result.

Neil Lennon gave Badr El Kaddouri his debut at left back. He started the game full of energy but over the piece as he settled down he looked like a very capable stand in for Emilio.

Kayal showed his Captain qualities today grabbing the game on the team by the scruff of the neck. He was not shy when it came to telling his team mates when he thought their play was not up to scratch. The manager may have a bit of thinking to do on the Captains front

Without going into too much detail all the goals where well crafted as for Ki’s well that was simply a screamer.

Man of the match has to be James Forrest who score two and dragged the Motherwell back line all over the place. Another debutant was Mohamed Bangura who replaced Anthoney Stokes. Hard to tell whether he’s the forward we have been looking for but he looked strong and quick and was unlucky not to receive a pass from Forrest which probably would have given him his first goal in the hoops. May be he can be a hero next week.

So four goals for, none against and three points. Perfect day.
