A New Dawn ?

Stade Rennais v Celtic
May be not but there is certainly a glimmer of  hope appearing on the Horizon after two fight backs in our last two games.
Celtic were not at their best against Stade Rennais in terms of giving the ball away and conceding the kind of goal that the Keystone Cops would have been proud of. However there was a good bit of fight and a steely determination about the performance.
We limited Stade Rennais to a few shots on goal which brought out the best in Forster. This fact should not be underestimated as Stade Rennais have a reputation of being a clinical attacking side. I seen enough last night to suggest that if we tidy up our game we are more than capable of beating them in the return game at Celtic Park.
So now it’s on to Sunday and the visit of Aberdeen. So far performances after Euro games have been dismal so we really need to up our game. We are still drinking in the last chance saloon as far as the title race goes so it is imperative that we win on Sunday. It’s time to put the blinkers on and not bother about what other teams are doing we need to concentrate on winning our SPL games.

  1. The two teams last night were deplorable, we are just papering over the cracks. Change is needed and some ambition as well.

    1. Graham don’t know which match you watched but I have just came back and most fans agreed with me that we played very well.
