Celtic v Dunfermline. Home at last.

Well it’s been a while. Twenty days since the Rennes game to be exact and the Bhoys are finally playing at home again. This game was moved as a result of Celtic playing in the Dublin Super cup and with no disrespect to Dunfermline this is a game we should win.
In our past six games we have won 5 and drew one which is far better form than we have been in this season. A win tonight would take us to within 7pts of the team at the top of the league with the possibility of cutting that to four before they play. I would like to think that we will take our opportunity and start putting pressure on them. If we can get back to seven points behind the SPL is wide open again and hopefully with more players coming back from injury we can drag ourselves out of the early season mess and put ourselves back in the driving seat again. However I think we should just stick to taking each game as it comes as we still have away to go yet to get back to the highs of last season.
Lennon may still have to do a bot of juggling tonight if El Kadouri is still unwell Joe Ledley may have to play at left back which is a shame because we all know the midfield is more solid with Joe in there. I think Ki and Kayal will definitely start in midfield with Forrest but I expect to see Commons and McCourt make an appearance at one point.
As for Central defence I don’t have a problem with big Victor being in there again alongside Dan. Up front it should be business as usual with Stokes and Hooper. Playing long diagonals to big Sammy just doesn’t work for us in the SPL. We tore Inverness an new one after Ki came on on Saturday and we passed straight through the middle of them. I think the big man is better suited to European games.
Hail, Hail
