Celtic have a chance to cut the other teams lead to 4pts (for a while at least) when they take on a decent St Mirren side at Celtic park tomorrow. Danny Lennon’s men have got themselves into the top five in the SPL and look quite comfortable there.
Lennon has slowly but surely built a decent side so Celtic can’t afford to take it easy. If anything on paper this is a harder tie that the game against Dunfermline on Wednesday.
Once again Celtic will be without half a team of players but were used to that now. Over the past six games the players have shown that they are up for the fight. Sadly some Celtic fans are just too quick to criticise the team and the manager. That does not help one bit.
Celtic’s starting line up should be similar to the Dunfermline game. Unfortunately Kris Commons will be missing with groin strain which is a pity because he put a good shift in on Wednesday night when he looked to be getting near match fitness.
So once again a good professional performance should see us through and land another valuable 3pts.
A wee shout out the the Under 19’s who took a bit of a doing off a quality Barca side last night. Keep up the good work Bhoys, it’s all about learning just now. Remember you are a top team and that Barca can do that to anyone. MON THE YOUNG HOOPS O/
