A Celtic Ghost Story ? Really ?

It’s a nice wee story on a certain Celtic forum. It goes along the lines of a wee girl at the Glasgow Derby with her Granda. The wee girl  talks to a man with ginger hair that no one else see’s. Then the man gives her a gift that she puts in her pocket. We are then told that the Granda seen the gift but would not tell us what it was because the wee girl says no.
Sounds like a great story until you realise that the people who published it actually want you to believe it happened.
Like every other Celtic fan I love Tommy Burns. I watched Tommy from his first appearance in the hoops till he left. I watched him transform Kilmarnock from a low league football club into an SPL club. I then watched him take hold of the Celtic job and give us our pride back.
Call me cynical but the use of Tommy Burns’s name in this fabrication is in bad taste especially as it looks like an exercise to get hits for a lesser known Celtic forum.
Whoever concocted this should have a look at themselves Tommy Burns is a Celtic Legend and like other celts  Jock Stein, Jimmy Johnstone, Bobby Murdoch, Johnny Thomson live on in our hearts FOREVER but not one of them has been seen since they died.
God Bless Tommy Burns, he is with us everyday but he can’t deliver physical presents.

  1. No offense but I believe if Tommy Burns could make a physical appearance it would be to his beloved family. Sad to use this as a way of getting hits on a site 🙁
