Dunfermline v Celtic 02/01/2012

SPL Leader’s Celtic’s first game of 2012 takes place today at East End Park today against a Dunfermline side anchored to the bottom of the league.
The top verses bottom clash on paper should be an easy win for Celtic but I think we have learned the hardway this season theat there are no easy games just games that we have to work hard to win.
Celtic received a big blow during the Glasgow Derby when Beram Kayal was injured in a clash with “Elbows” McCulloch. However this might not be as big a blow as first thought as it gives Lennon the chance to reintroduce Emilio Izaguirre at left back and move the brilliant Joe Ledely back into midfield alongside Victor Wyamma. That is the type of centre midfield partnership that we need to protect the defence and get attacks going.
Upfront Anthony Stoke will probably be back with Gary Hooper. Lennon’s big decisions will be whether to Play Samaras from the start and which other pair from Ki, Brown, Forrest will make up the midfield.
Hail, Hail and Mon The Hoops 2012
the game will be live on ESPN.

Comments

  1. Nice points about the Kayal injury leaving Lennon with problems a Manager loves to solve.
An opportunity today to close the goal deficit and keep moving after a win on a cold boxing day, let’s hope a hammering is on the cards.
    Hail Hail
