RFC Phoenix club may not be allowed into the SPL

One of our regular readers @edwardrice1 has alerted us to a post on the outstanding Rangers Tax Case blog. It is a highly imformative comment from ‘Brogan Rogan Trevino and Hogan’ a well known blogger on all things legal.
The post strips away the illusion that has been spun about the chances of a new phoenix company (Rangers newco 2012) continuing to play in the SPL after RFC go into administration. As it looks increasingly likely that RFC may go into administration the  ‘Brogan Rogan Trevino and Hogan’ post clearly demonstrates that under current SPL company rules there seems to be no provision for a new company who have not played a game in the SFL, SPL or Highland League to join the SPL.
As this post comes from a legal professional there are passages from the SPL company legal framework. If like myself you are a lay person who sometimes gets a bit lost in legal jargon it’s best to use the legal passages as reference points as the real dynamite is in the conclusions drawn near the end of the post.

Thanks to Edward for brining this to our attention and to RTC for their continued pursuit of the truth
