The bhoys take on 3rd place Motherwell tomorrow at Celtic Park in a bid to stretch their lead in the SPL to 23 points. Before I go any further I have a wee warning for Celtic fans. I’ve been informed that there will be followers of Rangers FC (in administration) joining the family club fans tomorrow plus there will be a gathering of the SDL in Glasgow city centre mostly made up of supporters of Rangers FC (in administration). So take care tomorrow.
So back to the football. Scott Brown is a slight doubt for the game after picking up a strain during the Dunfermline game but other than that we have almost a full squad to pick from. Tomas Rogne may return to partner Kelvin Wilson in central defence with Charlie Mulgrew going to left back as I don’t think Emilio is up to full speed yet.
I think we’ll see big Sammy starting up front with Hooper to help drag the Motherwell defence all over the place. I expect it to be a tough game as Motherwell seem to be getting their early season form back, in addition they will try and kick us off the park so we’ll be looking for a strong ref (ha ha).
Once again this game will be decided in part by the attitude of the Celtic players. If they keep up the effort of the past three months then we will win. Anything short of that and Motherwell will give us problems.
So remember stay safe and enjoy the party.
‘If Rangers have problems, they have problems. I really don’t care.
I am not following the news. I play for Celtic and I care only about Celtic.’
