Green Brigade – League Cup Final

green-brigadeOn Sunday the Green Brigade will have a full stand display to welcome the Bhoys to the pitch – hopefully spurring them on to the first trophy of the season.
We ask that all fans in the Celtic end participate and play your part in the display with the materials you will find on your seat when you arrive. The success of our tifos hinge on the participation of the full support and we’re grateful of the efforts and support with all previous efforts. We hope for the same again on Sunday and for another cracking fans display to add to the collection along with the trophy.
Bring yer chanting voices as well 🙂

  3. Let’s hope we get the first part of the treble on Sunday.
Do you realise if (or rather WHEN) we win the treble, NL will be the first Celtic man EVER to win the treble both as a player AND as a manager.
Keep safe everyone that’s goin’ to Hampden on Sunday, and please as Big Shuggie above, RIGHTLY says, NO sectarian singing.
    There’s only ONE Neil Lennon!
    Hail Hail.

    1. To be fair neither the Green Brigade nor the Celtic support sing sectarian songs. They may sing songs people don’t like but that’s another matter.

  5. Guys what’s all this about keeping away from Sectarian singing ? Really wonder if you listen to what’s being sung, especially from the GB lads.
Most of their stuff are Euro style chants and they have discorouged others singing “Oo – Ah up the Ra” as well as God Bless The Pope during the Soldiers Song. Both the add ons were a brassneck.
Well done GB lads, every stadium display gets better and better and I’m sure you will get the crowd going as ever.

  7. My point is meant to be a word of caution…..
No matter our intent not to sing improper songs, it is not beyond the realms of possibility to get carried away with enthusiasm and the occasion, Not to forget rubbing “others” noses in it…
NL is without a doubt improved as a manager in a very short time, he learns very quickly from mistakes, he is also much more media savy, less of at times coming over like an “cross man” he is quickly developing into a restrained ambassador.
Which for me is required of a Celtic manager, just like Jock and Tommy, excellent ambassadors for Celtic both.
I have a wee concern regarding NL, for now he is happy at Celtic, but, if the other mob get deducted points for the next few years, or get put down a couple of divisions, he may get bored not having competition and start eyeing a job down south. It can’t be ruled out, he is one driven, ambitious guy……..
