Rangers in Administration v Celtic

March 23, 2012

Is this a must win game for Celtic ? Of course it is after all it’s a Glasgow Derby. Granted if Celtic fail to win it cuts the gap in the SPL title race down to a measly 18pts at most but that’s irrelevant.

This is all about pride and possibly a chance to secure the SPL title if our big rivals Motherwell loose their game. Sunday is a great chance for the bhoys to put last weeks disappointment behind them and prove they are the number one team in the country.

Sunday will not be a time for faint hearts we really need to get tore in and grab this game by the scruff of the neck and I’m sure that’s exactly what Neil Lennon will have drilled into the players. This time last week I had a niggling doubt about winning the final and that was reflected in the blog I wrote however this week I don’t have that doubt. I don’t expect it to be easy but I don’t feel we will loose this game. I personally have great belief in gut feelings and this weekend my gut feeling is that we will be fine.

My personal wish is to win the Championship at Celtic Park next week but I will be more than delighted to win the title on Sunday. I’m actually starting to get that title winning buzz as I write this. Even if Motherwell win as long as we win then as far as I’m concerned that’s it.

I hope all you Tims who are going along to the party and regardless of anything it will be a party enjoy yourself and stay safe. The other teams support are not known for their graciousness in defeat and with things as they are with them just now I doubt they will stay in a good mood for long even if they win.

So take care and enjoy the day

Hail, Hail

    Great post James,

I like you am a big believer in gut/intuition .. CFC are streets ahead of the rest of the SPL.

Can’t see us loosing the game, but derby matches are often difficult to predict, but this one is the exception, we are far too strong, our old enemy are all but mortally wounded. I would expect them to shut up shop and go for a point.

Like Stevie said, a party at Celtic Park would be that bit special…..
