What an effin cheek RFC* and their fans have.

I go away for a couple of days and come back to the news that Rangers* in Administration along with Craig Whyte have been hammered by the SFA based on the results of an enquiry by top Scots Law lord.
I then had a look on the SFA web site and worked my through the charges and the punishment given out to both Whyte and Rangers* in administration to get a clear idea of the reasons for the punishment.
After working my way through the legal jargon I came to the conclusion that Rangers* in administration had in fact been treated in the same way as any other Scottish club. Fairly.
Then I come across and article by the RST asking it’s members to boycott Scotland games, their players to boycott playing for Scotland and boycott away games next season.
Let me take these three points in turn

  1. boycott Scotland games: Rangers* ‘fans’ stopped following Scotland en mass around 20 years ago.
  2. players to boycott playing for Scotland: If you look back over 20 years you will find as a matter of fact that more Rangers* have had mysterious illness and injuries than any other club prior to a Scotland game but for some reason made a miraculous recovery to play for their club only days later. So that’s a Joke.
  3. boycott away games next season: Why? it was not the SPL or possibly in their case the SFL who handed out this punishment. It was the SFA.

If that was not enough yon Macmillan chairman of the Rangers* Supporters Association attempts to drag Neil Lennon’s run in with the SFA in to the Rangers* mess.
To top it all off we have the ‘cheeky chappie’ himself Mr Alistair ‘Dignity’ McCoist ranting away to anyone who will give him hoose room about how he wants the names of the people who decided on Rangers* in administration had broke SFA articles of association and brining the game into disrepute.
Here’s just a snippet of what Mr Dignity had to say:
“Plain and simply, I think it is an absolutely shocking decision,” McCoist told Blues News.
“I found out the decision last night and I was shocked and absolutely appalled by the way this supposedly independent judicial panel was coming down on us in this form.
“Who are these people? I want to know who these people are. I’m a Rangers supporter and the Rangers supporters and the Scottish public deserve to know who these people are, people who are working for the SFA.
Why can’t you just admit you were found guilty by the SFA of cheating and breaking articles of association. Man up. Liquidate your corrupt football club. Apologise to those you have cheated out of money (you may want to start with UK ARMED FORCES as you seemed keen enough to make money from them). And finally apply to the SFL for a place in the 3rd division and work your way back into the SPL without cheating.
Then and only then can you start acting like a proper football club and not a right wing pro Unionist political institution.

  1. as a long term regular at parkhead and away grounds i think if rangers supporters want to boycott away grounds then we and every other team support in the spl should return the favour, i think they should think about their finances as if all support from other teams refused to travel to ibrox they would have a lot more to worry about they they do just now.

  3. Couldn’t paint a red neck on fat boy Sally. The peepel should be apologizing not looking for names and addresses for their next postal victims……
    McMillan is just plain mad.

  5. Well wee Ally is finally unravelling before our very eyes…if he could read…and there is some doubt about that…he would know excatly “who are these people” are. They come from the same stock as “we are the people” ie the Scottish establishment. They are not closet Catholics with an agenda but simply professional protestants who have had no room to manoeuvre. This club had run itself up itself up a cul de sac and has been punished accordingly….but lets face it they have been let off lightly. This story has more to run…I predict the transfer ban will be ‘modified’ under appeal.

  7. My thoughts exactly. For once in their less than illustrious history the SFA have delivered a fair and deserved verdict. Sally said they have killed his team…….no Sally, YOU and your ilk have killed your team . A corrupt chairman and and a series of corrupt boards have killed your team.
It is rumoured in some places that threats have been leveled at the governing bodies dealing with the orc misdemeanors and if this is the case I for once take my hat of to the SFA for taking the right road and not the easy road.

  9. Of course a boycott by the Hunnish hordes would be a good thing for Scottish football. Quintessential FC have a track record of not actually paying for the tickets they sell don’t they? Boycotting will only cost themselves.
