From the Sporting life.

Rangers have made a complaint to police over alleged racial abuse directed at one of their players.

The club announced the move on their official Twitter account on Sunday night following their 3-0 Clydesdale Bank Premier League defeat by Celtic at Parkhead.

A brief statement read: “The club has tonight been made aware of racial abuse directed at one of our players. We have reported this matter to the police.”

If that’s the case I want to know if the SPL delegate has reported rangers* supporteres of singing racist and sectarian songs at yesterdays game.

I clearly heard  the Billy Boys, Oh No Pope of Rome and the famine song. You may or may not have heard other illegal songs.

Please send an email to
enquiries@scotprem.com

We have already added the Subject “Racist and Sectarian singing from Rangers fans at glasgow derby 29/04/2011″

We suggest if you heard these songs that you report it to the SPL.

‘To Be Sung to the Tune of Letter from America by the Proclaimers’

    Intro & Chorus:
When you go will send back a £5 from America
Take a look up the rail track from Govan to poundstrectchers window

Just the other day I spent it thinking about all the huns that have gone away
across the ocean to the second chance at starting a supporters club know globally
    as the KU KLUX KLAAAAAAAAAAAN………….

When you go will you send back a £1000 quid from America
take a look up the rail track from Govan to the bankrupcy courts

    Ibrox no more
    Scott Simon no more
    John Grieg no more
    Coisty no more………..

    Blue nose Pakora no more
    90 minute biggots no more
9 in a row no more
    Rangers noooooo moooooore…………

This is just an animalistic and instinctive display by the fans of the “Great Scottish Institution” (Archie McPherson et al,) just wait and see the damage they cause when they are unleashed with local authority permission and impunity on the streets of Scotland during the summer, Celtic will have the toilets repaired from petty cash or perhaps an insurance claim, maybe even pursuing rangers insurance for the vandalism caused by their fans, assuming of course they have been paying their premiums, the bill for policing these animals will fall to the Scottish tax payer.
On a positive note if you think the toilet vandalism is bad you should see what they done to ‘Newcastle 69′ ‘Barcelona 72′ and who can forget Manchester…………..and everything in between, did you know that ‘Big Red House’ is an anagram of ‘Bi Dreg House’ and good riddance.

You have to admit there is a certain degree of accuracy in one part…..’we’re glasgow rangers (ia) and nobody likes us’ (cf Barcelona, Manchester,Newcastle……the list is endless)

Imagine being proud of that, what kind of parenting is this a product of?….the last bastion of an irrelevant empire that believes its home made propoganda….pathetic.

Is this an example of ‘the magnificent support’ Mr McCoist refers to…..costing their club money when they cannot afford to pay the local newsagent! This is the type of moron he appeals to when demanding the names of the people on the SFA panel…grandstanding when he was fully aware of the participants.

    Fat Ally knew.

E-mail sent and also referred to Gaffney’s video within it. I was at that Christmas Old Firm game and I can remember no further action being taken on the damage caused to toilets within Celtic Park.

The date on the e-mail subject is wrong also :D should be 2012. Cant expect those daft so and so’s to notice it themselves, or they could just ignore it altogether if its dated wrong. We have seen worse…

why did the police not do anything to those disgusting who completely destroyed that toilet at parkhead yesterday, while chanting their banned disgusting songs of pure hate ,racial, sectarian, and bigoted even chanting about hating the police yet no arrests same as at end of the game section 417 the police stood and watched as a couple of their so called fans broke seats in front of them yet were allowed to walk out the ground chanting bile as if they had done nothing now if it had been celtic fans who did all the above there would have been at least 100 of them arrested.

It’s nothing to do with tit for tat. It’s more to do with highlighting that Both the SPL and Strathclyde Police should be taking action against any set of fans who find it ok the break the law.

How can Scotland move forward if this type of thing is left unchallenged? It seems the Rangers support have decided that they will sing what they want because:
      1. they are showing defiance against the football authorities and the law of the land.
      2. they will no longer exist in a few weeks therefore they believe that any sanctions imposed won’t matter.

I for one will not sit back and listen to their songbook of racist and sectarian chanting.

I actually see now that it was Rangers fans that did it on twitter, it wasn’t Celtic fans on the internet or at the game.

Can this video be forwarded as an attachment to the email? Thing is I live in London so obv couldn’t be at the game, but this video disgusts me & as a lifelong Celtic supporter I feel I have the right to complain, about such behavior even though I never heard/saw anything 1st hand.

Anyone hear any racist chants from Celtic fans, I couldn’t hear any on the TV but you never know about a stupid fan or a small group of stupid fans who might shout something when a player is close to them. I hope no one was that stupid, if there is someone near you doing that, don’t let them do it although it might only be a person or a small group it can tarnish the reputation of thousands.

On the other hand I have seen bigoted, sick and sectarian signing from hundreds if no thousands of Rangers fans that has went unreported. Not only is their footage inside and outside of the stadium but it could clearly be heard on the TV.
