Nights like this you are proud to be a tim.

22nd of May was the night Norwich City hosted Celtic for a testimonial match in honor of Adam Drury, and Celtic came down in their numbers. From kick off until 90 plus the travelling Celtic fans were in full voice, with chants celebrating the crumble of R*ngers and Celtic being Scottish champions once more.
Through the game everyone from Norwhich & Celtic fans to the Police noticed the atmosphere pouring out of the Celtic end and it made us all feel good. Games like these remind everyone how good the Celtic support is and why we are so well known round the world. Doesn’t it make you feel proud to be a tim? I certainly do!
As well as the fans i thought the players, a lot being young and lacking experience, made a good account of themselves. Watt and McGeouch two of the youngsters who we have grown to love in the first time. Overall for a testimonial match we saw a good competitive game.
The result wasn’t to our liking but the support in the stands sung like we were winning, something the Celtic fans always do, win, lose or draw. Norwich fans would of left happy with the result and we will have left happy with the mark we have left with our brilliant travelling support.
Hail Hail

  1. I was in Norwich all day before the game, as I expected Celtic fans were noisy and colourful, and created a great atmosphere! As for the game, what better club could you try and get for your testimonial? With fans creating an atmosphere like that, like they did when they came a few years ago they must be top of everyone’s wish list.
I don’t know enough of the why’d and wherefores of entry to our premiership, if it did happen Celtic fans would grace it!
