Season ticket renewal Poll

Hail , Hail unfortunately for the first time in 25 yrs I cant afford to renew my season ticket. I managed last season paying over 10 instalments via Zebra Finance however I have enven less of an income this year so I cant even afford that.
I thought it would be interesting to carry out a poll to how things are going this season and what people thought of Zebra finance and how they handled their account because I had a bit of an nightmare with them.
All answers are confidential no one can see who replied.
Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment. Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment. Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment. Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.

  1. I was happy paying 4 instalments with the club and then zebra came along. The 10 instalments looked attractive enough for me to sign up with them but that’s when my problems started. Miss a payment (even though they tried to take it early) and it was charged by both bank and zebra. When I went to renew last season I was rejected. I went back to the club who said pay up in full or nothing.
So much for Lawwell helping fans out, he’s using zebra to get full season ticket money up whilst zebra hit fans with interest & charges.

    1. Same thing happened to me last september and october with Zebra asked for the money early I ended up on both occasions paying Zebra an extra £25 and obviously bank charges

  3. I wouldn’t even consider going until I know the outcome of all the “Rangers” investigations,i.e. are there going to be any or are they going to be dropped so that newco get into division 3. Is the AT going to be conveniently forgot by the SFA and is the double contracts investigation going to be swept aside? These are very pertinent questions for me, because if they these issues are dropped for the sake of a new club in order to pretend that they’re the old club and gain further advantage over others then the game is a bogey for me. I cannot support a corrupt game even if it means walking away from my beloved team.

  7. Dealt with all the finance packages over the years. Found Zebra’s T&C extremely harsh. Borrowed money from family to pay up front this season.

  9. hi james, re my earlier post, the ticket office informed me i had cancelled my direct debit with them, news to me , so i filled in the LOAN ? form n posted it back to them . i was duly informed that i had been declined.i contacted the ticket office and only full payment was an option, i raised the money but was then infomed i was on the direct payment scheme again so i awaited the eighteenth of June and no money was taken from my account ( SOME OF THE MONEY WAS SPENT BY THIS TIME )i then found out that i was on the direct debit scheme for home cup ties not for my season ticket as i had been blackballed by zebra finance and celtics hands were tied. Now considering Celtic would already have £155 from me and £310 by September when only what two home games played? I think I may have been worth a bit more after paying my money on time over the past eight years Ihave been a seson ticket holder so as i said before i’ll take it game by game, sorry for going on a bit James but it has pissed me off in the last month or so and yes like u i recieved Mr Lawwell’s letter n that pissed me off further! Hail Hail keep up the good work James.

  11. I’ve been a season ticket holder for more years than i care to remember, I have always paid the full amount up front, this year however i have decided not to renew, since i would much rather pay as i go. I think the zebra finance option is a disgrace and Celtic should be ashamed of themselves to even have these crooks anywhere near our club. If paying by 10 instalments is an individuals only option then the agreement should be between them and the football club, not some 3rd party only looking to make a quick profit out of our most financially restricted supporters. Its times like these that proves to me that we really seen as ‘customers’ and not as the Kerrydale propaganda machine would have it ‘part of the Celtic family’. If a family member asks me for £50 i give them £50 and get £50 back when they have it, NOT £85 paid in 10 monthly instalments. Anyway season 2012/13 and every season from now on i’ll just put my hand in pocket and spend MY money with Celtic when I feel like it, since the coporate suits have sickened me too much too often. The team won’t really be improved and the competition is the same old Scottish Pub League standard, only European games (should we make it that far) make a season ticket worthwhile, but as we all know there has been such a downturn in sales that anyone wanting a book will just have to wait until December when they will be able to get a half price one over the counter.
