Am I right in thinking that this is the first League Cup tie against Raith Rovers since 1994?
Anyway, straight to the point – Through the summer of torture with the SFA & SPL trying every angle to allow SevCo a “puddy up” the leagues, one man stood tall & shouted back.
“Scottish football has been based on, or should be based on honest sporting endeavour. There should be rewards for the good sides, relegation for the bad sides and the fans should come along and see something that is at least honest.”
Turnbull Hutton – Raith Rovers Director.
Whilst many involved in Scottish football, Turnbull risked a lot by speaking out against what was happening behind our back’s. Turnbull needs huge applause.
What also needs HUGE applause is our own clubs ticket price policy for this game. I mean £12 per adult & £5 concessions is a crackin offer.
So please (IF POSSIBLE) Use this game as an opportunity to give something back to Turnbull Hutton & Raith Rovers and take yourself along for the night.
For football rivalry, It’ll be nice to see us getting our own back somewhat for ’94.
