First and foremost I’d like to voice my joy of our great win against Kilmarnock. Team didn’t show any of this Champions League hangover which has been hanging over us in recent games. Have to add that Kilmarnock’s “Club with history” banner is another sign that the majority of Scottish football supporters feel the same about Zombie FC.
To my main point though, those who’ll know me from Twitter will know that I more than most carry the moniker BanTheRagsCSC. I use this as I hold a bit of a disliking of the chip wrappers in this country.
Some would say this stems from football but it’s mainly from life in general. I really hope that this Leveson inquiry leads to major changes within this trade throughout life & how subjects are treated as a whole. For too long have newspapers got away with publishing inaccurate and at times completely false information.
With this I wasn’t entirely surprised to see one man step away from his this trade, some would say that he’s not changing jobs, just changing the employer name on his pay packet. There’s always been accusations that James Traynor was a public spokesman for Rangers, that he was always at the front of the queue for some “Succulent Lamb” that no matter what he’ll be taking a negative story and twisting it to ensure some positivity came from a Rangers story, something which wouldn’t be the case for other clubs.
It could also be said that Traynor leaving the Daily Record opens up the doors for others and that certainly could be the case for Mark Hateley, after all Traynor’s ” new job” could be like a new signing for the club.
So before James Traynor “joins” The Rangers as “new” Director of Communications he leave’s an attack on Internet Bampots, taking a swipe at those who questioned the whole dead club’s shame in recent years. It could be the case that Traynor’s last article was a final task to seal his official capacity at Ibrox.
No matter what, Traynor was/IS a mouth piece for Rangers, The Rangers or SevCo and when questioned during his phone in radio show the class of the man shown. His attitude towards football fans throughout the country shouldn’t make his last article surprising.
My biggest gripe is not with James Traynor though, it’s with those within the Daily Record & BBC Scotland who time & time again this man to go with his propaganda. It was always expected that whenever there was questions about the happenings at Ibrox that you could rely on a James Traynor article to sweep things under the carpet. Anyone remember the Craig Whyte “£30 million takeover” which was actually for a pound?
It really puzzles me that throughout all the years of Traynor spouting his nonsense that some Celtic fans continue to fund the Daily Rectum & its employees. In saying this it’s well noticed that the readership & advertising numbers on newspapers is vastly decreasing.
Last few words go to the man himself – James Traynor – Lover of Succulent Lamb,
“No matter how Charles Green attempts to dress it up, a newco equals a new club. When the CVA was thrown out Rangers as we know them died.” – James Traynor’s own words in his own article for the Daily Record “SPL will not be able to prosper without Rangers” dated 13th June 2012.
“It’s important to end with some good things.” – James Traynor’s own words in his last piece for the Daily Record.
Oh YES Jabba! Your leaving the printed word and radio voice is indeed a good thing!
