Last gasp Celtic beat Aberdeen 3-1

Fisher was superb today

Cagey game today against an Aberdeen team content on sitting with 10 men behind the ball, it was impossible at times to get past them, it looked like we could have lost it at 1-1 but a SUPER save by Forster denied Aberdeen and how important a save that turned out to be

Celtic were missing a few players today, Stokes and a few others, we had decent wide play with a big shout out to Fisher at right back he stopped a few Aberdeen breaks. In defence we were ok today but Aberdeen were always a danger on the counter attack

It was Celtic that took the lead however on 36 minutes when a Samaras cross was punched out by Langfield it fell at the feet of Commons 25 yards out and he lashed a shot into the only space there was, just before half time, we were all chuffed looking to go in at 1-0, sadly we lost a goal with the last kick of the ball in the first half, an Aberdeen corner was cleared, headed back in from the edge of the box the ball fell right under the bar, I thought Forster should have done better, but there was McGinn to volley home and make it  Celtic 1-1 Aberdeen at half time

The second half was a frightening time, we had all the ball but Aberdeen had 4 good chances to take the lead, the ball was going from end to end for most parts of this game and a BRILLIANT stop by Forster with 5 minutes to go saved us today, a brilliant take by an Aberdeen player and Forster tipped it onto the post, seconds later Forster took a volley into his arms from the resulting corner

But Celtic being Celtic we did it again, we got the last minutes winner, we have been amazing at this throughout history and today with 91 minutes played we won the game, a Mulgrew corner was headed goal bound by Samaras, Langfield palmed it away and there was Boerrigter to lash home for a remarkable last gasp win, the place went wild, we all went wild, it was just typical Celtic, it was BRILLIANT!

We had all just settled when the 3rd went in, a brilliant shot my Samaras who hit the post himself earlier in the half the ball again was palmed away and there was Kris Commons to hammer home his second and Celtic’s third. The score line suggests it was an easy game but it was far from it, this Celtic team even without a few players and a couple not on form don’t know how to lose

Aberdeen must be sick of injury time at Celtic, all in a deserved 3 points but a very hard fought 3 points and we also remain unbeaten, one of 10 teams in Europe to be unbeaten still in November
