Raffle for Amstersham Legal Fund !!!

**Raffle for #Amstersham Legal Fund**

As many of you know there have been numerous functions, auctions and collections over the past 3 or 4 weeks to ensure that the legal funds can be covered for those caught up in the unjust and unneccessary attack on Celtic fans by Amsterdam Police on November the 6th.

The appeal process will be a lengthy one and it is vital that we do not let this issue slip away out of peoples thoughts over the coming months.

I have met both Andy Vance and Damian Dobbin who were both remarkably found guilty despite overwhelming evidence which could not be taken into account in an Amsterdam “speed trial” and having discussed with them what happened that night neither of them are guilty. I also spoke to John Quigley who was found rightly innocent and the torment and expense he and his family have gone through to prove his innocence is horrific.

For these guys and their famillies to go through what they have endured over the past month cannot be imagined by most, yet……it could have been any one of us.

Many people have been kind enough to part with items for the last auction I ran on Twitter and again for the current one ending on Friday, and the money raised has been incredible from these. My concern was that most of us dont have a large amount of cash to be in a position to bid upwards of £300.

For that reason I am running a raffle which will cost £5 a ticket, to be drawn on February the 1st 2014. The prize is a signed and framed Celtic top from the Seville squad of 2003 including Martin O Neill, Henrik Larsson, Paul Lambert, Neil Lennon, Bobo Balde and Bobby Petta amongst others. This has been kindly donated by a good friend who stands with me in section 111 at Celtic Park @Budbhoy

This gives EVERYONE a chance to own something very very special. If you tweet / message me how many tickets you would like to buy and then confirm that your payment has been sent via paypal to – gslm450@gmail.com

As soon as your payment has been recieved I will write your twitter name or name and postcode if you’re not on Twitter on the back of the raffle tickets and yours goes into the hat.

For those not with paypal, you can meet me at home games with cash and I will follow the same process with the tickets.

The top has had a cash value of between £500-£800 put on it but Im sure its worth a lot more than that to the previous owner, who would love it to go to a fellow Celtic fan and raise the money for a cause which should be close to all our hearts.

I will also be uploading pictures of the top to my Twitter feed or if you supply an email address I can email them to you.

This isnt limited to just those on Twitter so feel free to spread the word far and wide. Good luck, and get buying those tickets at a £5 !!!!!
