  1. Hi Shaun

I have been out of circulation for a while. Ever grateful for your commentary when I have no pictures. Thanks again for all your hard work. I am looking forward to watching this one. It sounded like a real thriller in the mud type of game that was often the winter norm in days gone by. It was a bit of a nail biter to listen to and I got the impression that for periods in the game we were lucky not concede on more than one occasion. Forster seems to have played a stormer and made some incredible stops, though going by the commentary, Virgil Van Dijk would be my man-of-the-match. He is a real class act and I am preparing for his departure come the summer. I guess it is inevitable for someone of that calibre.

It sounded as though it was a difficult game till the last 10 minutes or so. If truth be told, I thought from the CTV commentary we might have been a wee bit fortunate to come away with a clean sheet and such a convincing scoreline. However, the most important thing for me was, in spite of the scaremongers at Hampden and throughout the media, the Scottish game is still alive and kicking, perhaps stronger than for many a season. I look forward to your summary later. It is always an interesting and thought provoking read.

    Thanks again.

    Arthur
