Celtic Park to Anfield – JF96-Lola Commons Fund – SiMBA
On 15th April 1989 96 Liverpool Supporters went to a football match and didn’t come home. To remember them on the 25th Anniversary of their passing, I shall be walking 232 miles from Celtic Park to Anfield starting on 16th April and arriving at Anfield on Sunday 27th April.
I am a Celtic fan who was a student in Liverpool at the time but what happened on that dreadful day in April 1989 could have happened to any football fan of any club. Please Remember the 96 and their families in your thoughts and prayers.
Please support me in any way you can in Remembering The 96 and raising funds for the Lola Commons Fund for SiMBA . The Lola Commons Fund fr SiMBA is there to help raise funds so we can re-decorate and re-furnish Family Rooms in hospitals and provide the vital equipment within them so parents have a place to spend time with their baby before they say goodbye. Lisa Hague, Lola’s Mum said: “Lola lives on in my children and we will never forget her and this is why I want to support the incredible work undertaken by SiMBA”.
Thank you for your time in reading about my walk. Thank you for supporting the Lola Commons Fund for SiMBA.Thank you for “Remembering the 96.”
