Happy to announce that https://thecelticnetworkgoodcauses.com will open at 9.00 GMT on Friday night. The opening article has been written by Steve Taylor of Life cycle For Neuroblastoma. This is the horrible cancer that took the life of Wee Oscar Knox amongst others. So far Steve has cycled over 27,000 miles raising money to fight this nasty disease.
After spending money on setting up the site :
- 2 yrs professional hosting
- 1 yr SSL certificate
- 1 years licence for professional additional security
We have a starting fund of £80 for good causes. It is my hope that as many people as possible sign up for a monthly subscription set at £1, £3 and £5 per month to help us grow a healthy fund of which 80% will go to our good causes and individual Celtic fans who are fundraising for various charities in there own way. You know what I mean , the type of people who are willing to chuck themselves out an aeroplane, run a marathon/ long distance or any other crazy challenge to fund raise.
If you don’t fancy committing to a monthly subscription you have the option of a one off donation.
The Celtic Network Good Causes and our partners can’t change the world but we can make a difference to the lives of many people.
Please remember that all monies revived and spent will be independently overseen by Jeanette Findlay of the Celtic Trust. Also all invoices bank statements etc will be available on request for our subscribers and donors at any time.
Thank you for your support so far. remember you can follow us on social media.
