Scott Brown. An Agents Fault ?

Let me say as a football supporter I hate agents in general. They suck a disproportionate amount of money out of football and put nothing back in. However I don’t like this latest stuff coming out from Celtic regarding the Scott Brown situation.
According to the manager, everything has been agreed but the Agents fee is holding up a new deal. I won’t claim to understand these deals but sometimes you need to think to yourself who’s actually to blame here?
A couple of simple questions:

  • Do Celtic really want to sign the player?
  • Does the player want to commit to Celtic ?

Celtic Fans Media. So far ahead of the game.

The Celtic Network was created to give Celtic fans a credible alternative to mainstream media and after the first two months we’re delighted to announce that we are starting to deliver.
We have already had 50,809 unique visitors with roughly 8,000 of those visitors leaving the site to visit our partner sites. Most sites would moan about that amount of visitors leaving to go on to other sites but we are delighted with the numbers and we hope that over time the numbers will increase.

At long last. Celtic take action

Not being someone who buys or reads the Daily Record on any of the other scandal rags served up as newspapers in Scotland I only found out late last night about this latest irresponsible article.
I am delighted to see that the club have issued the following statement:
